Brevard County Recycling protects public health by providing an efficient and environmentally sound Solid Waste Management System for Brevard County’s Customers. They operate two Facilities (Central Disposal Facility in Cocoa and Sarno Landfill in Melbourne).

Brevard Zoo
Brevard Zoo is a 75 acres not-for-profit facility located in Melbourne, Florida,  that is home to more than 650 animals representing more than 165 species from Florida, South America, Africa, Asia, and Australia. The Zoo’s mission is includes Wildlife Conservation through Education and Participation.

Bridges eCycling
Bridges operates a state-of-the-art, full-service Material Recycling Facility (MRF) that services Patrick Air Force Base, Cape Canaveral Air Station, and Kennedy Space Center.

As part of the Art of Sustainability, Bridges Recycle Facility will have a collection point at the event for people to discard their old electronics…computers, monitors, printers, etc.  There will even be a hard drive shredder at the event so people who have been keeping old hard drives for years can bring them to the event and actually see them get shredded.
